Restoring Purchases After Reinstall or Device Change

Summary: 

You can easily restore your Magic Earth subscription or one-time purchase after reinstalling the app or switching devices. This process ensures your account is reactivated without needing to repurchase the app. 
 
Always be sure you backup your favourites before you uninstall Magic Earth! 

Steps: 

For iOS: 

  1. Re-install the Magic Earth app. 
  2. Tap the account icon on the bottom-right, navigate to the Settings.
  3. Tap the Subscription button to edit or restore your subscriptions. 
  4. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for your original purchase. 
  5. If the restore doesn’t work, try signing out and back into your Apple ID, then repeat the steps. 

For Android: 

  1. Re-install the Magic Earth app. 
  2. Tap the account icon on the bottom-right, navigate to the Settings. 
  3. Tap the Subscription button to edit or restore your subscriptions. 
  4. Ensure you are signed in with the same Google Account used for the purchase. 
  5. If the restore still fails, clear the Play Store cache and retry. 

Notes:
  • Restoring purchases requires proper sign-in to the app store account used for purchase.

  • Backup your favourite locations and data before uninstalling to avoid data loss.
