Navigation Instructions Are in My Language, but Warnings Are in English
Summary
Navigation instructions in Magic Earth follow your selected voice language, but certain warnings (e.g., “Speed Camera Ahead”) use the system’s Text-to-Speech (TTS) voice. If warnings play in English instead of your chosen language, update your device’s TTS settings.
Steps
On Android
Open your device’s Settings.
Search for Text-to-Speech.
Set the Preferred Engine to Speech Recognition and Synthesis.
Choose your Preferred Language.
Exit and restart Magic Earth.
On iOS
Go to Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices.
Select your preferred language and voice.
Exit and restart Magic Earth.
Notes
Warnings rely on your device’s built-in speech engine rather than Magic Earth’s in-app language settings.
Restarting the app after changing the voice engine ensures that new settings are applied.
