How to Restore Purchases After Reinstall or Device Change

Summary: 

If you reinstall Magic Earth or switch devices, you can restore your existing purchase using the same account credentials you used originally.  

Google Play Store purchases

  1. Make sure you’re logged into the same Google account used for the original purchase. 


Apple App Store purchases

  1. Open Magic Earth. 

  1. Tap Account iconSettings Subscription. 

  1. Tap Restore Purchases.

  1. Confirm that you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used during your purchase. 

    If the restore button doesn’t appear to do anything, check your internet connection and restart the app. 

Web-based purchases

On Android 

  1. Open Magic Earth. 

  1. Tap Profile → Premium → License Key. 

  1. Tap on the current license under the Scan QR code button → Deactivate.

  1. Make sure you’re logged into the same Google account used for the original purchase. 


On iOS 

  1. Open Magic Earth. 

  1. Tap Profile → Premium → License Key. 

  1. Tap on the current license under the Scan QR code button → Deactivate.

  1. Confirm that you’re signed in with the same Apple ID used during your purchase. 


On Website

  1. Enter the email you used at checkout. 

  1. Tap Send Unlock Instructions.

    You will receive an email with unlock instructions. It may take a few minutes for the email to be delivered or it might by moved to the Spam folder. 

Notes: 

  • If the issue persists, contact Magic Earth support with proof of purchase.
