External TTS engines not recognized or no voice on GrapheneOS
My external TTS engine is not recognized or there is no voice output. What should I do?
On some devices running, external Text-to-Speech (TTS) engines may not be detected by the app or may produce no voice output during navigation.
Examples of affected engines include:
Terpa TTS
Other third-party TTS engines
We are aware of this limitation. At the moment, external TTS engines are not fully supported in this environment, and voice guidance may also not work correctly on GrapheneOS itself.
Our team is working on improving compatibility, and support for these engines will be added in a future update.
Since this is already a known issue, there is no need to submit additional reports. We appreciate your patience while we work on a solution.
