Send App Debug Log via Feedback to the Support Team
If you encounter any issues while using the Magic Earth app, we encourage you to send us feedback so we can improve our services. To help us diagnose and resolve the issue more efficiently, please include the log file with your feedback mail.
To send feedback, please follow these steps:
- Open the Magic Earth app on your device.
- Navigate to the Settings page.
- Open the Advanced Settings page and enable the Debug Mode.
- Close the app completely and reopen it.
- Reproduce the issue you are experiencing.
- After reproducing the issue, go back to the Settings page and click the Send Feedback button. This will open your default email client with a new email draft addressed to our support team at support@magicearth.com. Please leave the log file attached to the email and provide a detailed description of the issue you are facing.
After sending your feedback, you can disable the Debug Mode in the app to prevent further log generation. The app might run slower while Debug Mode is enabled, so we recommend disabling it after you have sent your feedback.
Note:
- The log file contains important information that helps us understand the issue and find a solution. Please ensure that you attach the log file when sending your feedback and provide as much detail as possible about the issue you are experiencing, including steps to reproduce it, the device you are using, and any error messages you may have encountered. Screenshots are also welcomed if possible. This will help us address your concerns more effectively.
- The log file is not intended for tracking or monitoring user activity, it is solely used for diagnosing and resolving issues with the Magic Earth app. We take your privacy seriously and will only use the information in the log file to address any issues you may be facing. Please avoid sharing the log file publicly for the best privacy protection.
- Some email clients may have limitations regarding the attachment of log files. We are working on improving the feedback process to ensure that users can easily send us the necessary information to resolve their issues. If you encounter any difficulties while trying to attach the log file, please let us know in your email, and we will do our best to assist you.
