Which Items Are Saved to My Account, and How Can I Export Them?
Summary:
Magic Earth saves your data locally and through cloud backup options for convenience and safety.
Applies to: IOS and Android
Steps:
- Activities are currently stored locally on your device.
- Favourites, Route History, and Recents can be backed up via:
- iCloud (iOS)
- On Android there is no back up via Google Drive.
- Enable Cloud Backup in Settings → Advanced Settings.
- You can also export or share data (like Favourites) directly from their respective screens using the Share button.
Notes:
- Exported data can be re-imported into Magic Earth anytime.
- To prevent data loss, enable automatic cloud backup where available.
